The Cooper Gang and Carmelita took a close inspection at the old photo found. In the photo was a picture of Sly's grandfather, Augustine Cooper, whose specialty involved defying gravity. The group also noticed three other figures in the group who were likely part of Augustine's Cooper Gang.

Carmelita: Who are these three with Augustine?
Bentley: Let me see. *grabs the photo and scans it* And... got it. *hands back the photo*
Penelope: Given the clothing attire, this picture dates roughly back to the late 30's.
Murray: I wonder if any of these guys might be involved in this whole mess.
Sly: *tries reaching for the photo*
Bentley: Well it looks like these characters are no doubt intertwined somehow. The guy on the far left is named Donovan Von Hornbeak. He was the brains of the group and was known to many in the criminal underground as "The Magician". The big guy in the middle next to Augustine is Anton Alexander. He was the muscle of the gang and was better known as "The Mad Claw". Last but not least, there's the female theif counterpart of the group and expert assassin, Roxanna Klaskavich. Because of her dark past and nearly flawless reputation, she was often called "The Silent Knife".
Carmelita: Hmm, I've read about them once. They and Cooper's grandfather were responsible for pulling off a number of heists in the late 30's. There were only old documented newspapers on that part of history, yet no photographs regarding their accomplishments. This photo appears to be the only known one with their faces on it.
Penelope: Maybe whatever big job that they pulled in the photo was well worth the memories.
Carmelita: No doubt about it. *points to the Chalice in the photo in Augustine's hand*
Murray: It's the chalice. Then that means Sly's Grandpa and his buddies were the first to uncover the chalice. Wait, then that means one of Sly's Grandpa's friends must be Client X!
Penelope: But they might be dead already.
Bentley: Thankfully they aren't. Well, at least two of them aren't.
Carmelita: What are you talking about?
Bentley: I've managed to find some information regarding the three in the photo. Hornbeak is still alive and currently resides in London, England. Klaskavich is alive as well and appears to be living in Moscow, so we'll have to add Russia to our Europe travels also.
Penelope: What about Anton Alexander?
Bentley: I'm afraid that he's dead. According to his info, he's been dead for fifteen years, but he does have a grandson who lives in a small town in Romania. If we're lucky, he might gives us some valuable info on his grandfather.
Carmelita: Then let's not waste anymore time then. We'll pack up and leave for these places right away.
Murray: Count me in!
Penelope: Let's get going then!
Bentley: Alright, we'll start our investigation at England first and see if Hornbeak knows anything.
